Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using MuscleTrack, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MuscleTrack mobile application ("App") provided by MuscleTrack ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use MuscleTrack on your personal iOS device for your personal, non-commercial fitness tracking purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent
- Use the App to develop a competing service
- Circumvent any feature limits or Pro restrictions through technical means
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@muscletrack.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. MuscleTrack Pro Subscriptions
Free tier: MuscleTrack is free to download and use with the following limits: up to 10 progress photos, 3 muscle groups, 7-day analytics window, and 20 workout sessions. Free limits are defined in the App and may change.
Pro subscription: MuscleTrack Pro removes all free-tier limits and unlocks additional features. Pro is available as:
- Monthly subscription: $2.99/month
- Annual subscription: $24.99/year
Free trial: A 7-day free trial may be offered for new Pro subscribers. No charge is made until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge.
Billing: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Refunds: All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
5. User Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create in MuscleTrack, including progress photos, workout logs, and measurements. You grant us a limited license to store and sync this data solely to provide the App's functionality (see our Privacy Policy).
You are solely responsible for the content you add to the App. Do not add content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
6. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
MuscleTrack is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical service. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Body composition estimates (body fat percentage, lean mass) are calculated using validated formulas but are estimates only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new fitness program or making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine. Use the App at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in MuscleTrack — including the name, logo, app design, code, and content — is owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
8. Third-Party Services
MuscleTrack integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google LLC) and RevenueCat. Your use of these services through the App is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
9. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any interruption of service. We may update these Terms at any time — continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MuscleTrack and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or any fitness-related outcome.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MuscleTrack operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 10, 11, 12) will survive.
